About Me
Hello.
I’m Oli Trenouth and welcome to my website. I’m a Media Technology Developer and video editor at the National Media Museum in the UK, where I get to play with shiny Apple equipment every day. In my spare time I also freelance as a live sound designer and engineer for numerous regional theatres, and if that wasn’t enough I also have a small sideline in software and web development projects. Hopefully that goes some way to explaining the strange mix of categories on this blog!
I live in the North of England (the top-left bit of Yorkshire to be precise), and like many of us I’ve grown up with technology. I’m not sure how I slipped into media production – maybe I wasn’t paying much attention that year – but I’ve spent 13 years working in the industry now and I’ve filled my brain with an unnecessary amount of knowledge about digital video and audio production.
I hope you find something of use here.
Thanks for visiting,
Oli.
